Job Description
In this position, the Program Manager will have following
responsibilities
Manage activities for a specific product or group of products from
product definition and planning through production and release.
Involvement throughout all stages of a products lifecycle, from
product release through maintenance of the product and end of life decisions.
Create and manage the integrated program schedule, manages critical
path, drives for the best possible milestone dates, escalating key issues and
present options for resolution to the cross-functional executive teams.
Drive cross-functional in-house and 3rd party teams to execute to
the business units commitments, product requirements, schedules and resources;
exposing and resolving variances. Coordinate, synchronize and manage overall
program. Providing regular status and escalate when needed.
Lead the Development and Operations teams in planning, prioritizing
and executing product qualification and successful product ramps. The
individual will be responsible for driving the Product Life Cycle process
compliance by ensuring phase checklist compliance and coordinating phase
reviews.
Publishing monthly metrics on actual performance to commitments. Furthermore,
the individual will drive high level strategic decision making thorough
detailed analyses and material preparations.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a BE/BTech degree or equivalent with
more than 10 years of related experience. PMP certification is must.
Semiconductor background is preferred.
The ideal candidate must have proven ability to achieve results in a
fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however,
must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
Proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and
outside of the team.
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to
multi-task and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal
skills
The Ability to initiate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
and interact with many different groups, levels of people, cross different
geographically regions both internally and externally.
The individual must have a commitment to do everything possible including
getting into contracting details and into labs to resolve complex issues.
The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in
a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and
verbal) and organizational skills. Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to coordinate priorities and initiatives. Outstanding management
skills, including diplomacy, clear communication style and employee
development. High level of skill in developing, mentoring, empowering,
managing, and supporting staff. Excellent planning and problem solving skills
with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment.
